My Craft Room

Here are some photo's of my Craft Room !!
After I took these photos, I realised it looked quite messy and unorganised, but I know where everything is so thats all that matters!
I stand up when I stamp or scrapbook, so Anthony made me a desk that is at waist height.

I brought the wire cubes when we were on Thursday Island from a shop that was closing down, they have come in handy, they fit perfectly under my desk, and they hold my Stampin' Up! stamp sets, and they are within reach!!

Nice and Narrow

Another favourite stamp set which I love.

These cards were all made using the stamp set "Nice and Narrow" on page 48 in the current Catalogue and Idea Book.

The first one I "stamped lifted" the design, except I turned it into a card, where as in the catalogue they have it as a pocket.

Ink Pads:Basic Black, Whisper White, Cerainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Marigold Morning, Regal Rose

Convention 2007 Swaps

Well better late than never!!

These were some of the swaps I received at Convention 2007 in Sydney.
I'm unsure what I should do with them all, as I didn't design them, I don't want to turn them into cards and take the credit for them!
Any suggestions!!

Bodacious Bouquet

This card reminds me of some of the Anna Griffin classes I used to attend to Canberra with this amazing teacher!! Anyway I thought the same concept might work with this stamp set!
I recently saw a similar card on someone's blog (sorry I can't remember who or where, as I look at so many blogs).
Stamp Set: Bodacious Bouquet
Inks: Perfect Plum,Pale Plum and Mellow Moss
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White and Sage Shadow

Boxes

Here are a few boxes that I have made over the past few weeks! The instructions were from Andrea Walford I love this ladies work, she is a Stampin'Up Demonstrator in Canada, she has some amazing tutorials.

Canvas

On the weekend I brought a few blank canvas's from Lincraft. I thought I would try and incorporate some stamping and papercraft onto a canvas. I know it is very basic but this is how the end product turned out, not all that exciting!

This photo was taken on DayDream Island last week end. Those who know me, I hate getting my photo taken, so this is rare that I actually liked it enough to do something with it!! The colour of my dress was jade, I was never going to be able to match a colour but the Taken with Teal was pretty close! It still needs something else on it to finish it off, but I need to have a think about it!!
Also, for those who I havn't seen since I got all my hair cut off, this is it!!

Stamp Set: Bodacious Bouquet

Inks: Taken with Teal, Rose Red and Always Artichoke

Cardstock: Black and Take with Teal

Other: 8x10" Canvas, Stampin' Dimensionals

DayDream Island

We had a great time on DayDream Island, apart from the freezing cold factor! We couldn't believe how cold it was on Friday and Saturday, What a joke, we have just moved from Canberra, and were going to a Tropical Island, so who would have thought we would need to pack bulky jumpers! We have heaps of winter clothing, but I still had to go and buy Anthony a jumper from the gift shop!
The days were sunny and clear but still crisp! We still managed to do a few things, Anthony,Tim,Chris,Jai and Jeanne all went snorklling, but way too cold for me! I managed to lay in a deck chair in the sun and read a book! I took heaps of photos also. My kind of island holiday! We did the Rainforest walk, from one side of the island, to the other. We play putput golf. Hung out in the bars and restaurants!
The wedding was great, the bride looked stunning and the bridesmaids were beautiful. The colour of the bridesmades dresses was watermelon and silver! The backdrop was Lovers Cove, on the deck overlooking the ocean as the sun was setting!

INSPIRE

I brought these wooden letters years ago and had done nothing with them!
Using one of the Designer Series Paper range "Recollections",I covered each letter.
I sanded the edges with a Stampin'Up!Sanding Block.
Using a few pieces and colours of Grossgrain Ribbon-Chocolate,Cream,Celery and Burgundy, I tied a knot on each of the "I".
I still havn't found a spot to hang it yet!!

This June long weekend, Anthony and I are off to DayDream Island in the Whitsundays. It is for a friend of Anthonys wedding, he grew up with Rachael. Anthony's whole family will be there which is a rare occasion for all 3 boys to be in the same state, let a lone the same place!
