COPIC TECHNIQUE CLASS WITH JULIE

This year I am happy to announce a New Class to our timetable in store at Creations in Paper.

I'm still working out a few minor details but this class is going to be more of a Copic Marker Techniques Class.

Now that most of you have started building your Copic Marker Collection, we want to teach you about getting the most out of your Copic Markers with learning new tips and techniques to keep you interested!

In some classes we may just spend the time colouring in images and other times we may actaully make cards, so the pricing for the type of Class will reflect this.

You will be required to bring along your own Copic Markers for these classes and please remember that this is not a Copic Beginner Class.

Although this Class is suitable for all levels, it is preferred that you have already been using Copic Markers.

If there is anything in particular you would like to learn about with your Copic, be sure to let me know!

JANURAY/FEBRUARY CLASSES
Saturday 28th January | Saturday 11th February from 12 - 3 | $20.00

Wednesday 22nd February from 12.30 - 3.30 | $20.00

This month we will be making 2 cards.
They are quite simple in design but we will be focusing on Colouring Skin tones and Hair.

They are themed around Valentine's Day but certainly not limited for this occasion.

These cards are on display in store now if you want to see more detail.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye "Love Me" Collection and the Stamps are from Gor Juss and Pure Innocence.

You will receive this class in Kit Form, so everything is included in the cost.

Bookings are Essential and Copic Markers are required.

Each person is required to supply their own Basic Tool Kit which should include: 12" Paper Trimmer, Scissors, glue/double sided tape, faom tape/dots, Ruler, pencil, eraser, etc.

Project Life 2012

My Project Life 2012 finally arrived!

I had been waiting paitently for it but when it didn't arrive just after Christmas I emailed them asking if they could give me an update but then only to find out that it hadn't even been shipped yet and that my order must have been misplaced as orders either side had already been shipped and received! Anyway, I got an email to say it would be shipped straight away and anyway, it arrived here last week..finally!

For my 2012 Project Life I decided to just order the Core Kit, Page Protectors and a pack of the 12x12 Pattern Paper in the Clementine Collection.
Although I loved the album from last years kit, I found that because I added extra sections to it and sometimes more photos than just a weeks worth, it is quite full and kind of overflowing and to spread it out I would have had to get another album the same and I didn't want to do that. So with that in mind, I have decided to just used 2 black albums that I had at the shop and this way I can spread out the year over the 2 albums if needed.

I ordered a pack of 60 Mixed Page Protectors so instead of having the same layout through out the whole album like last year, it will mix it up and keep it interesting(hopefully)I have already gone and sorted out the layout in my album (but I can always change it) As there were 60 page protectors, 6 designs - 10 of each, I have spread them out throught the entire album and have gone and added my core element cards, etc

This is my title page that I have kind of started but obviously I still need to add photos! (I'm already 3 weeks behind!)

Like last year's Project Life I have decided to go with the weekly set up which I must admit at the time thought it was going to be hard to try and take photos nearly every day, but as I look back at my 2011 Project Life Album (sure some weeks are busier than others and I have a few gaps here and there) but it made me more aware of taking photos and for most of us these days we always have access to a camera, weather it is your iphone, mobile, camera, etc.

So while I had been waiting for my order to arrive I had a bit of a clean up in my craft room and went on the hunt for suitable items that I thought I could use in this years Project Life Album (mostly flat items such as embellishments, rub ons, stickers, etc) I'm sure that if you went looking through your stash you could certainly find stuff to use without having to go and buy more...but there are a few new items I purchased late last year with Project Life in mind.

I have been following Becky's Blog and reading all the updates and seeing all the different styles that people are doing this year. Also this year there is a Creative Design team so you can go and see what wach of them are doing with their Project Life Albums to keep you motivated.

So, I am organised to start Project Life 2012... I can now start adding my photos (just have to get them printed) and journalling. I have a diary that I have already starting jotting down daily events so I don't forget events and happenings.

Girls with Attitude...

During the week I finally got around to making some cards. The images I used on these are from Kenny K downloads (www.kennykdownloads.com) the 3 I have used are Brooklyn Babe, All That and Troublemaker. There are heaps of images to choose from, go and check them out. These are Digi Images but I have seen that you can now get some of them in rubber.

I have always been a fan of these images, I love the attutide of these girls and they are so suited to teenage girls (they certainly remind me of a few that I know!) but if you're looking for something different they certainly have that too!

As usual they are all coloured with Copic Markers (I coloured these ages ago but never made them into cards)on XPress It Copic Cardstock.

The design and style on all 3 cards below are really simple. I used a assortment of pattern papers from my stash of 6x6 paper pads that is growing all the time as there are so many beautiful papers around and I love the 6x6 size which is so handy and in perfect poportion for making cards and the fact that you get the whole range and it all matches.

Clearly I am a fan of "dot paper" but again I think this is because of the 6x6 paper pads and the size they are in these.
Sometimes I wish the 12x12 papers would be made with the images the size that they are on a 6x6 (sometimes you want more then the 2 pages and not want to have to buy another pad)

This was my final card that I made for 2011...

I made this birthday card for a good friend (Wendy) who's birthday was on the 23rd of December. We all went out for dinner the celebrate and a final catch up before Christmas!

You may remember from one of my previous posts, I recently learnt how to make the Twisted Easel Cards (Sharon taught this in December Advanced Class)and I love them, very simple to make but so effective, so while on a roll...

Project Life Update...

If you've been to my blog before then you may have read about Becky Higgin's Project Life
I first read about Project Life at the end of last year, thought it was a great idea, ordered myself a kit and the rest is history!

For me, I saw it as a way to keep taking photo's without the stress of actually getting these photos onto pages and then into Albums. I'm already so far behind with my Scrapbooking (3 overseas trips and probably 5 years worth sitting on the computer)and I love that Project Life simplifies the way I can now Scrapbook!

I am very proud of myself that I have been able to keep up with it throughout the whole year. I decided to do my album as a Weekly theme, which I must admit was sometimes hard at times to do as obviously some weeks we had more going on that others.

I did fall a little bit behind in the middle of the year, but by keeping a journal and adding post it notes to weekly pages, it was very easy to get caught up (if you look closely at the pictures you will see the post it notes scattered throughout) I just jotted down in point format events that happened that week and so when I had printed my photos out it was easy to know where the photos had to go.

I have always been very slack at journalling, even when I did scrapbook so I do have lots of journalling to catch up on. I'm looking forward to doing this over the Christmas Holidays, so that I am all caught up by the end of the year and ready to start 2012!

Most of the photos in my Project Life album are of things to do with the shop but for me, this has been a huge part of my life this year!

By doing Project Life throughout the year, it has made me take alot more photos of our everyday life and things that we usually take for granted or wouldn't necessarily think to photograph.
I did a rough count the other day and up until last week, I had over 450 photos that are in my 2011 Project Life Album. That's over 450 Photos that would probably still be sitting on the computer, unprinted!

So, when the Project Life Kits for 2012 were announced, I had to get mine!

The only place you can order your Project Life Kits and accessories (for Australian and New Zealand customer) is Craft House in New Zealand.
They have just received their huge order and are shipping this coming week, so fingers crossed it arrives in time to go under the tree!

Not sure what happend to some of the photos, but you get the general idea.

More Christmas Cards...

I have finally finished and posted all my Christmas Cards for 2011 (I still have a few cards to hand deliver to family and friends this week) but apart from that, all done!
This year I wanted to make all my Christmas cards that had hand coloured images on them, since there are so many beautiful christmas stamps available.
I ended up making over 30 cards, although this is not as many as I have made in past years but still I was impressed with myself that I managed to make that many (and all coloured with Copics)

Christmas Cards 2011

I finally got around to making my Christmas Cards over the past few weeks (as usual I left it till the last minute)

These first 4 cards are from Sharon's Advanced Card Classes that she has taught in store (I was lucky enough to get to sit in on these class and make them also, so at least that was 4 done and it certainly inspired me to make the rest of them) I cheated a bit by using the base designs that Sharon taught on most of them! Christmas Snow Dome

Here is another little project that I have been working on over the past week.

This is not my original idea(I saw it some where on someone's blog and I apologise that I couldn't find it to put a link back to them)

I purchased the Dome (fish bowl) and the tin from the junk shop.
The tin I covered with pattern paper from Fancy Pant's Design "Saint Nick" Collection, which I am loving and using it every chance I get!

The Christmas Tree's I purchased from The Christmas Shop a few months ago and are in a pack of 21, in all different sizes (I have used the 2 middle sizes)

The lights on the tree are some that I purchased years and years ago and have never used, but now I want more and haven't seen them any where (that's what usually happens!) I made the 2 little presents and the shopping bag!

The ground is covered with white Flower Soft to give the look of snow!

I have used 2 Magnolia Stamps that I have coloured with my Copic Markers.

Once I placed the dome over the scene it looked unfinished, so I have added some white tulle and added some silver bells that I have dipped into glitter.

The berry spray was from a wreath that I purchaed and pulled apart, so I have been using this on heaps of different projects.

Merry Christmas Advent Calender

Here's a little project I have been working on over the past few week. It's kinda of a Advent Calender but not really!
I have coloured all 24 Magnolia Images with Copic Markers and no, all the Magnolia Christmas Stamps don't belong to me, some were borrowed.
The beautiful papers are from Fancy Pants Design, Saint Nick Collection which I am totally loving the colours in this collection.

I cut the numbers and Merry Christmas with my Cricut Machine and the berries were from a wreath that I purchased and then pulled apart. I added some extra vines pieces from Petaloo.

I was really happy with how this project turned out, noe aI just need to find a spot to hang it!

Happy Birthday Deb...

Here is my Birthday Card that I have made for my little sister Debbie, who's birthday is on Friday.

I've used some new papers that just arrived in store at Creations in Paper from an Australian Company called La La Designs (no, not the stamps) but a invitation store!

I used a Magnolia Stamp "Tilda with Balloon" which I coloured in with my Copic Markers in softer colours to suit the papers.
I've poked a little tag in the side that pulls out and says "Just for You on your Birthday" which I used a old SU rubon that I had in my stash.

The flowers in the corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have used some pale yellow ruffled ribbon from Maya Road.

Let's hope that she likes it!

Project Life...

At the beginning of the year I order my Project Life Kit which is designed from Becky Higgins and couldn't wait for it to arrive so I could make a start!
When I first read about these kits a few years ago, I thought they were a great concept.

I choose to have my album as a weekly update, so over the past 9 months I have been good and I have tried to keep up to date with adding photos and journaling.
Some weeks have been easier than others to update, but I must admnit there have been weeks where nothing exciting has happened in my life apart from going to work and coming home!

It has certainly made me make sure I always have my camera or iphone with me, cause you just never know when a photo opportunity my happen!

So below are a few of my weeks that I have completed in my Project Life Album 2011. I still have a few spots to fill here and there, but overall I am happy and proud of myself that I have been able to keep up with this!

6x6 Mini Birthday Album

I recently made this cute little 6x6 Mini Birthday Book using the Happy Day Collection Kit from Simple Stories.
These Collection Kits are great for doing these types of projects, the only extra items I used to complete this project was the Chipboard (used to make the base of my book) Ribbon and Jump Rings, everything else was already in the Simple Stories Collection Kit.

It has been ages since I have made any mini albums and I forgot how much fun and how quick they are to complete once you get a theme and roll with it!

It has been so long since I have done any serious scrapbooking and I've been looking at all my photos that I have been taking over the past few years since I got my new Digital SLR (including 3 overseas trips)and thinking I am never going to catch up!

So I was really happy when I saw these kits. Simple Stories have heaps of different themed Collection Kits, so I'm pretty sure this won't be the last one I use.

Getting back to the 6x6 Mini Birthday Book, I used over 60- 3x4" photos that I had of my niece's 2nd birthday from last year. I originally started with 10 pages in the mini album but I used the 6x4" tags that are in the kit to make extra pages which I used for photos, journaling and sub titles.

This card was for Bec.
The stamp is from Kenny K and coloured with Copic Markers. The pattern papers are from My Minds Eye 6x6 paper pad.

This card was for Dan who turned 40!
This image is a Digital from Mo Manning. Again coloured with Copic Markers and the pattern papers are from October Afternoon and Echo Park.

And finally, this card was for Alena who is our trainer from Goal Power Training!

Happy Fathers Day

Today in Australia, it is Father's Day, we spent the day having a lovely relaxing long lunch at the Villa Noosa with family and friends.

Here are my 2 Father's Day Cards that I made for my Stepdad Alf and Anthony's Dad, Stuart.

For Alf's card I used a digital image from Dude Doodles-Arnie on the Loo. I printed this image onto X Press It Cardstock and I have coloured this with Copic Markers.
The papers that I used were a mix from Basic Grey's Wander and Oliver 6x6 Paper Pads and teamed with some Philips Head Brads.

For Stuart's card I used a stamp from Wild Rose Studio-Biplane. I coloured this image with Copic Markers and again used Pattern Papers from my Basic Grey Wander 6x6 Paper Pad.

Both cards are pretty simple in design but as usual cards for males are certainly not my favourite to do!

New 6x6 Paper Pads arrived in store today and are now loaded on the website...lots of nice and yummy colours and styles... My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories

In the My Mind's Eye - Lost and Found Two Collections, we also received the beautiful 12x12 Pattern Paper, Stamps and Stickers in Rosy, Breeze and Blush. These papers are gorgous, some have glitter elements on them and are sooo pretty. Think it might be hard to use these as Scrapbooking Pages as they are so nice!

Recent Cards

A few weeks ago I had my Mum's and Sister's Birthday (both on the same day), here are their cards that I made.

Mum's card was actually a card that Sharon designed and taught in store a few months ago using papers from Lily Bee Design but instead of adding Ballerina Marci from La La Land (which Sharon had originally used) I slightly changed it and just added the sentiment and the layered labels and this seemed to work really well.
I loved the colours and original design of the card that Sharon made but this just worked perfectly also.

Angela's card was made using the new 6x6 Paper Pad from My Mind's Eye Papers (which I love)and if you look closley you will see that I have sewn around the edges (now don't fall off your chair, that there is sewing on my card!)
I love the idea of sewing on your projects but it actaully scares me as I cannot sew in a straight line and am worried that I will muck it up. But when no one is around I can take my time and hey, must say pretty happy with how it turned out!!

Obviously it was her 40th so I wanted something a little special.
I coloured Tilda with Copics and added some beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a Vintage Hat Pin.
I had a bit of an accident with my ribbon but I had hot glued it down and there was no way this baby was coming off! So was very unhappy about that!

Anyway, it's been a while since I've made some cards that aren't for the shop and I really enjoyed just playing.

Gor Juss..

A while ago I purchased some products at a Craft Show from the Gor Juss Range and have fallen in love with them! And by the amount of people asking about them, they have too!!
If you have been into the store over the past month you would have seen the Gor Juss Decoupage and Topper Kits and the samples that I have made with them. Plus you would have heard me talk about them as I have been trying for the past month to get in contact with the supplier of these as they also make these Gor Juss images in rubber and acrylic stamps.

Well I am (finally) happy to announce that I have my account opened, first order placed and hopefully these little beauties will be shipped in the next few days!

So since they are about to arrive in store I thought I could share with you some of the cards I have been making with these Gor Juss images.

All of these images have been coloured with Copic Markers and I have used a variety of papers and embellishemnts from my stash.

I've had a bit of a play with colouring the hair on the different stamps in different colours as on the original images that you see, they all have jet Black hair. I love the original design but sometimes they look a little too "Goth" and just needed to be toned down a little!

Anyway, if you love these Gor Juss stamps as much as I do, then keep watching for updates as to when they will arrive in store!

Something a little different..

At the last craft show in Brisbane I brought a Shadow Box kit from Twiddleybits. It had the cute little houses and lots of different embellishments. I came home all inspired to make the original kit but when I actually sat down to make it nothing fell into place, the papers were wrong and it was blah! I put it all away and there it has sat for over a month.

After looking at some of the new products and displays from CHA I got all inspired again, so I pull this kit back out on Wednesday and this time everything just fell into place.

The papers are from Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland Collection (which I know is a little old now) but they were perfect for this. (I know I'm way too early for Halloween!)

I maganed to used some of the other pieces that were in the original Kit from Twiddleybits, but I just used them a little differently eg: in the top left hand corner, this is actually a Tree, but when I moved it around a bit it actually looked like the branches so when painted in black it blended in with the papers.

I added a few extra handmade embellishments and on the way to work this morning I went via the florist in search of some Grandpa's Whiskers. I managed to find some at The Sculpted Leaf at Maroochydore and she already had some out the back which had been drying for a few months, so it was perfect!

The other embellishments have been inked and embossed with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder to add more texture!

When I covered the inside of the box, I made sure that the joins on the side panels lined up perfectly so it looks like it is one continuious piece.

Gor Juss Decoupage Sheets

I recently came across the Gor Juss range of Page Toppers, Decoupage Sheets and Stamps, and OMG, they simply are gorgous!

I currently stock the Page Toppers and Decoupage Sheets in store at Creations in Paper and if you are after some quick but cute cards, then I highly recommend these. All you need to do is add your favourite cardstock and pattern paper, add some embellishemnts and you're good to go!

Now as you all know I am a die hard ink and rubber stamp girl but there is something about these that I simply love.
I am in the process of trying to get the rubber stamps in store but is proving to be harder than normal! But I will keep persisiting!!

So the samples below are some cards I made using 2 differnt Decoupage Sheet, and from each sheet you can make 2 cards.
As mentioned above I've some cardstock and embellishments and this is what I came up with.

June's Creative Card Kit Samples..looking back at these I realized that I must have been in a La La Land craze this month!!

Most of the images that I have used on these samples were from the La La Land Stamps that are in store (these are from the one of the first ranges that were released here in Australia)they are all so cute!
Love the size of these stamps as they are the perfect fit on cards but certainly could be used on some scrapbooking layouts also!

Below are my sample cards that I made using the Products that were in June's Creative Card Kit..12 in total and of course most of them are coloured with Copic Markers!

Basic Grey Kit of the Month -Creations in Paper Style

Just wanted to share with you one of our Basic Grey Kit of the Month Projects that we have on offer each month. If you are on Creations in Paper's Mailing list than you would have seen these appear on the weekly update and time table.

One Saturday a month we offer a full day of fun and creativity using the Basic Grey Kit of the Month and for only $50.00 (with lunch & afternoon tea)

I purchase these kits from one of my Suppliers and they come packed full of papers, stickers, embellishments and also with instructions to make a beautiful Double Page Layout which is designed by a talented Basic Grey Design Team Member.
As there is so much product in these kits, and don't get me wrong, I love the layouts that are already designed, but we thought we could expand on this and by adding a few extra bits and pieces and get a bit more from these fantastic kits.

Each Monthly Kit is completely different as it uses New Basic Grey Collections and even for us it is sometimes a challange!
I love Basic Grey and have for years but some collections are certainly not for me so this certainly takes me out of my comfort zone!

So from each monthly kit, Linda designs 2 amazing 12x12 Layouts using the products and then she returns it to me and then I make 3 fabulous cards! On the day we share the Teaching Role.. Linda teaches her Scrapbooking Layouts and I teach the cards!

It really is a great day out and if your pressed for time, each month you have already made 2 layouts and you will have 3 handmade cards ready!

Did I mentions as well as all of the above, Lunch and Aftrnoon Tea is provided.

look what i made today....

I recently found a tutorial on Camilla Ekman blog's on how to make these beautiful flowers and you will never guess what they are made of.... baby wipes! I kid you not!

Pretty amazing hey.. now mine aren't the prettiest, but for my first attempt I was pretty happy with the outcome, I got impatient waiting for things to dry completely as it was raining here today, I even went to the Hairdresser next door and borrowed a hair dryer to speed up the drying process (my heat gun was way to hot). I think the flowers got better as I went along!

My photos were taken with my iphone as I left my camera at home, so they aren't the greatest photos.

Anyway, I will use these on some projects and I will take some photos of them and post them in a few days.

Happy Birthday Timmy..

This was a Birthday Card I made in a hurry for Anthony's older brother Tim, a few weeks ago.
I am forever getting the date wrong, I thought I had until the 15th but no such luck (you'd think after 11 years I would remember, maybe I should check the calender!) Anyway I quickly put this easel card together for him.

I used a Digital Image from Mo Manning called Strong Man and I printed him onto XPress It Copic Cardstock and I coloured him in with Copic Markers. (I should have made his skin tone a bit darker, he looks very pale in these photos)
The papers are from a 6x6 Basic Grey Paper Pad Life of the Party and Textured Cardstock.

Other Creations in Paper...

Over the last few weeks I have been experimenting with other Creations in Paper items and products. With a name like this there are many possibilities that I am able to explore, not just cardmaking and scrapbooking!

Over the past few months I keep seeing a few similar items poping up in Wedding and Home Decorating Magazines and Websites that I thought were very interesting!

After a bit of research and fiddling, here are my end results!

Tissue Paper Pom Poms and Flowers made from Gift Wrapping Paper:

Crete Paper Rose Ball:

Trust me, this Crete Paper Rose Ball looks beautiful when finished and would be great for weddings, but maybe don't use the largest ball you can find for your first attempt! If you want to use them for table display's, go smaller!

I love the look of this but it took me in total about 1 1/2 days to complete it as each flower is hand made and my flowers were of a small/medium size.
After I finished it, another thought I had was to use pre made paper flowers that you can get these days, just cut off the stems and glue on! Might cost a bit more in $ but depends of how much time you have and how many you want/have to make!

Anyway, looks very pretty !

I have some very exciting News to share with you all. I have finally gotten organised and over the past few weeks I have been working on my very own website for Creations in Paper

So for all you customers who cannot get into Creations in Paper Store, you can now get your very own beautiful stamps and products online through me.

To start with I am going to keep it quite simple, so I will only be selling Stamps, 6x6 Paper Pads and the monthly Creative Card Kit. I will expand on this as I get more confident in figuring it all out!

The website is very easy to navigate around, all the Catagories are listed down the left hand side and then under each company are all the images and pricing of the available product.

Freight is seperate, so be sure to go in and pick your freight option. Pick up is also available, just send me an email and let me know if you are picking up your order.

Please be patient with me over the coming weeks as I get used to my new website and as I continue to upload images.

I was having a bit of a play today and this is what I made.

I'm not really sure what type of card it is, maybe a sort of a Easel Card??

The papers are from Basic Grey's 6x6 Life of the Party Pad and the stamp is Eric from The Greeting Farm, I haven't coloured a Greeting Farm stamp for a while, and he was perfect for it. Of course he is coloured with Copics.

The banner is from My Favourite Things which is a stamp and die set.

I made the little bundle of presents out of the scraps and was pretty happy with how it turned out.

It is obviously a card that you cannot send in the post as the parcels are too high, it does fold down flat and fits into a square envelope.
If you did want to sent it, you could probably get away with just 1 of the parcels on it or else remove the parcels altogether.

The papers are from Kaiser Crafts which I purchased the other day from my local Art Store. These papers are so beautiful, just love the colours and design of this range.

My cards are quite simple in design and style as I wanted the main focus on the beautiful papers.

Another Birthday Card

I had to make another Birthday Card this weekend for Anthony's Mum who's Birthday is tomorrow.
This is a really simple card that I made but still happy with the outcome.

I used one of my new Lockhart Stamps that arrived on Thursday called African Violets in a Teacup. I have coloured this image with my Copic Markers. I stamped my image twice and then I coloured and cut out some of the flowers again and then I added a foam dot and raised a few of the flowers.
The pattern paper is from a old Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad, added some Lilac Vintage Seam Binding and a few clear Rhinestones.

Copic Project Course

Last Sunday, Sharon and I attended the Copic Project Design Course that was held in Brisbane by Copic Australia and taught by Kathy Jones.
I had a great day and learnt sooo much.
I loved all the projects that we made and certainly learnt heaps. We got to use a variety of stamps and products
I must admit my least favourite project that we did was the Stamping and Colouring on Fabric. I did colour in the image on the practise piece of fabric, but I have still not coloured in the image on my apron.

As I've said in the past, these pens are truely amazing, you can do so much more than just colouring in with them.

If you want to learn more, then keep watching for updates for upcoming classes we will have in the coming months.

Another Easter Card

I have another Easter Card to share with you that I was able to sit done and make recently.
I have used one of the lastest Magnolia stamps Tilda Holding Egg Basket, which is one of my favourites from the latest Collection.

I have coloured Tilda in with Copic Markers and I have tried to keep her in softer, pastel colours which are more colours we tend to use at Easter.

The Pattern Papers are from Echo Parks Little Girl Collection and I have used a mix of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kaiser and the Trim is from Prima.

Hope you all have a Happy and Safe Easter and I hope this rain we are having here on the "Sunny Coast" decides to move on!!

I cannot remember the last time I actually sat down a made a card for myself. I am making cards all the time but they are usually for classes or Monthly Card Kits. So during the week I thought I had better make a few Easter Cards to send to family.

This image is from the latest Magnolia Collection, that Sharon kindly lent me.
The papers I used are from My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose Collection-Mabel 6x6 paper pad.
I have coloured my image with Copic Markers to match the colours in my papers.

I just love this entire Stella & Rose Collection of papers, and it certainly shows as we have used just about every single piece of paper in classes, kits and cards!

I am very happy to announce that Creations in Paper will be stocking
Lockhart Stamps

My first order is on it's way from the US, so I will be hassling the postman everyday waiting for my parcel to show up!!

I am also very happy to say that I will be the only store in Australia to have
Lockhart Stamps available.

I can't wait to get my hands on some of these so I can start colouring with my Copic Markers. As much as I love colouring all the cute little girl and boy stamps that we currently stock but I think it will be a nice change to be able to make some cards with differnt images on them!

Over the years I have seen Lockhart Stamps used on different blogs around the world but never realised that no one actually sold them here in Australia, so a huge big "Thank You" to Linda who originally directed me to their website and mentioned to me about stocking these stunning stamps!!

At Creations in Paper I stock a brand of stamps called Loralie Designs Art Stamps. These large quirky stamps are heaps of fun. There are some in the range that when you look at them they remind them of someone that we know!! Here is the link to my supplier for other stamps from this collection. Scrappy Art. I don't have them all in stock but I am more than happy to order in the ones you are after!!

Anyway I got this new stamp this week called Craft Girl! Loralie's certainly hit the nail on the head with this one, love how she has all her supplies and is actually carrying her Cuttlebug!! Pretty Cool!!
I've also ordered another one called Sassy Stamper and she is on her way!!

These Loralie Design stamps are great for colouring with your Copic Markers.

So as soon as she arrived on Friday I had to colour her in!!

Valentine's Day ...

For Valentine's Day on Monday, Anthony gave me this beautiful bunch of flowers!

It was the first day that Creations in Paper opened our doors in Maroochydore, so with expecting my first day to be pretty quiet, so it was a nice suprise when the door opened and there was Anthony hand delivering me my beautiful flowers!!

In Print..again

While I was grocery shopping last week I picked up a copy of the latest Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft magazine. I am hopeless at knowing what the latest Volume or addition is and usually I just go by the images on the covers.

Anyway later on as I was flicking through it, I came across the other card that I sent in a few months ago to be published. I wasn't expecting this so it was certainly a nice suprise! So I was a little shocked to see it in the magazine!

My FREE copy, only arrrived on Friday in the post but better late than never!! Again it was published in the Readers Gallery and this was also a card that I taught ages ago in a class.

The stamp I've used is from Wild Rose Studio. I've stamped the image a few times on patteren paper and then cut out each layer of the dress and raised with foam dots to give it more a 3D effect. I've used this technique a few times on other stamps from Wild Rose Studio.

Craft Room Clean Up

So with having such a busy week in moving and cleaning mode we thought why stop at the shop!!
We have been saying for ages that we need to move a few things around at home but with me working 6 days it just hasn't happened!

So while I was having a lovely relaxing Sunday at home (first one in many, many months) this morning Anthony suggested that we do the move (I don't think he expected it to take as long as it did!!)

Since I have my own room Anthony wanted his own also.
We moved the main computer and larger desk into my craft room and then we are turing the study into Anthony's man cave!
I got a beautiful timber desk made for him last Christmas and this has been in the lounge room as he does a lot of work at home at night!
We moved this into the study and eventually he's getting a tv to go in there also. So now that we are all sorted we will probably never see each other!!

I took some before and after photos of my Craft room. Some of the lighting in the first few was really off, but you get the general idea! Hopefully with this room sorted now, maybe I will be inspired to actaully do some scrapbooking at home!!

I still have a few things to sort out but at least now I might come in here more often than I have over the past 12 months.

All set to go....the doors open Monday

What a difference a week can make!! It sure feels longer than a week!!

I am all moved out of Montville now and everything is set up and ready to go down at the new store in Maroochydore to open the doors tomorrow! (Monday 14th February)

I have just sent out my lastest Newsletter update and on this there is a link to February and March's Class Timetable.

February Classes will start again this week with Creative Cards on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am. For more details or to see these please call in store to see samples.

A few weeks ago I posted about a contest the Copic Australia and Copic Oz was running and you had the chance to win a set of the 36 New Ciao Copic Markers which have just been released.(and are now all available in store)

I'm in print!

Late last year I submitted a few cards to Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft magazine, more so out of courisity and didn't really think I would get a response, let alone a request to send a few of the originals in for publication. They said it might be in the Readers Gallery section. (still better than nothing)

So you can imagine my shock when back in January I received a letter, my original card and my FREE copy of the Magazine in which it was printed (Vol 16 No 11)
It was in the Readers Gallery but I'm still pretty stoked that my card was even wanted!! My style of card making is very clean and simple.

The card they chose was actually from a set of 4 that I had made previously for a Creative Card Class using papers from Echo Park and stamps from Papertrey Ink.

More Birthday Invitations

Last week I was asked by one of the girls in the shop next door if I could make some Birthday Invitations for her son's up coming Birthday (she had seen the party invites for Lauren)

Originally she wanted the same triangle design but with Dinosours on them, but then realised she had to post a few so this design wouldn't work.
I told her to leave it with me and this is what I came up with.

These invites actually open up and all the details are inside.

My challenge should I accept....

A few weeks ago, one of my regular customers who I have made quite a few projects for her daughter's kindergarten class over the past year came in and asked me to make some Birthday Invitations for her daughter Lauren who's turning 4.

When I asked what she had in mind!! she said that she had asked Lauren earlier and her response was.... had to have trianlges...favourite colour is green...and it must have a Seal on it !!

Right!! .. a Seal???

Story behind the Seal is that for her birthday she is getting a very special kiss on the cheek from a Seal at Under Water World (I think), so it all made sense!! Kinda!

So I told her to leave it with me and let me see if I can come up with anything..
so below is what I made using all the things Lauren requested.

A Birthday Invitation with a Green Trianagle with a Seal on it! simple!

The Seal came from October Afternoon's Seaside Collection Stamp Set which I happened to have on the shef!! Lucky!! the ball idea I came up with.
The 3rd panel (which I didn't take a photo) is where they will write on the details of the party.

When they came in to see the sample, Lauren was really impressed! Let's hope the other 25 kids like them also!

Birthday Card and Mojo Monday Challange 172

I've been a huge fan of Mojo Monday's for a few years now, but I've never submitted a card before and most weeks I'm never organised enough to actually get them done in time before the challenge actually finishes.

I save each week's image and when I get a chance I go back and actually do them. But this week I was organised!! And you will never guess but I was 1 hour late in uploading my image to my blog and I have yet again missed out on submitting my card!!

Anyway, I made this birthday card for my niece Zali's who's 3rd Birthday was last week.

Project Life...

Most people who know me know that I started my creative journey as a Scrapbooker. But over the years cardmaking has certainly taken up more of my time then Scrapbooking. I still love taking photos and I keep telling myself that I will get around to finishing some albums but there just never seems to be enough time or hours in a week do this.

I started with Creative Memories and was even a consultant, but soon realised that there was a whole other world out there to do with Scrapbooking, and much bigger than Creative Memories.
One of my favourite Scrapbookers was and still is Becky Higgins. I used to order magazines and books from America if Becky was published in them and I also had her Creative Fonts that she deisgned. Over the years I have still followed Becky and loved her regular articles in Creating Keepsakes Magazines, and more recently started following her blog.
Last year she released a Scrapbooking Project Kit called Project Life. I really thought long and hard about getting this and thought this would get me back into scrapbooking and maybe get some of my thousands of photos off the computer, but when I opened Creations in Paper, unfortunately this project got pushed to the back of my mind!!

Anyway, on New Years Eve when I was home sick and laying on the couch blog surfing, I thought I'd check in and see what Miss Becky Higgins was up to and her Project Life Project Kit came up again.

Scrapbooking has certainly changed over the years and I would still love to be able to get in and finish albums but for me what I think has caught my eye with this is the simplicity of the whole idea and it is a start for me to get back into Scrapbooking.

Gift Ideas and Packaging

Here are some gift ideas and packing I used this Christmas for family and friends.

For the girls who work in the office with Anthony, I brought these Christmas Mugs and filled them with some of my yummy homemade Rocky Road.
Added a handmade tag and wrapped in some clear cello and added a christmas ribbon! Simple and inexpensive if you need to make a few!

And just using some plain white gift bags, I added some pretty christmas papers (most of these were off cuts, a great way to use up leftover papers) a nice sentiment stamped onto some pain cardstock then a few dies. Some of them I also made handmade tags and just added them to the handles with a little ribbon.

Score Buddy
The SCOR-BUDDY is a mini portable scoring tool provided by Scor-Pal. It is great for making Folds to make homemade cards. The Scor-Buddy is a mini version of the very popular Scor-Pal. Christmas Cards

So I thought I had better make a start on some Christmas Cards (actually I made these a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to posting them or actually sending them out to anyone yet!)
I used the same template for the Criss Cross Cards that we were taught a few weeks ago by Sharon in an Advanced Card Class in store at Creations In Paper.
I used some left over scrap Tinsel and Twig Papers that I had laying around and matched them with some Crimson and Spinach Textured Cardstock.
The die is the Faux Crochet Border from Die Namics is from My Favourite Things. I love these!!
I've coloured my Magnolia image, which Sharon lent me and I coloured her with Copic Markers.
The sentiment is from a Papertrey Ink Christmas Stamp set from last year (or the year before)which I just love and have used them over and over! Stamped in SU Real Red Ink.

Happy Birthday

Last week was Anthony's 40th! So the card I made him, I wanted it to be a little bit special and I've mentioned numerous times that I struggle with Male Cards.
I recently purchased some stamps from La La Land Crafts but was unsure where to start, so for some ideas I went to La La Land Crafts and searched for ideas using Star Boy Luka Stamps set. There were a few samples here that I got the main idea from for the card.
So using the products I had on hand, I made this cute easel card using the Star Boy Luka stamp, coloured with Copic Markers and the papers are from Basic Grey's Wander 6x6 Paper Pad.
I didn't have a stamp that said what I wanted, so I just used some mini lettering stickers I had.
The 40 is out of Chipboard and I painted with some Smooch. The stars are cut using a Nested Star die from My Favourite Things Die Namics.
I know this card is kinda cute and probably not really suited to a 40 year old, but he really liked it and that's all that matters!!

For the table settings for the tables, I wanted to do something a litle different, so I approached Donna the Clown who does Balloon Art. Asked if she had any car designs that could be done and this is what she had. So in the middle of the tables were some balloon cars. They were a huge hit not only with the little boys!!

Advanced Card Class Cards

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be able to sit in on one of Sharon's Advanced Card Classes in store.
It was a lot of fun to actually sit and make cards for myself and have someone else telling me what to do!!
Below are the cards we made in the class but I haven't got my coloured images on these. I thought I had taken photos of these completed cards but clearly not! so I will post them when I photograph them.

Anyway, the two cards we made, one was a Criss Cross Card and the other was a Easel Shaker Card. The papers we used were from Echo Park and The Girls Paperie

These were stunning. And I was happy with the final result.

This was Sharon's last Advanced Card Class for this year in store but she will be back in January with a Valentine's Day Class!!

New Stamps in store...

This week I received another range of new stamps in store from Cats Life Press Stamps
I have had a few of these stamps for about 5 or 6 years now and I use my Handmade Card Stamp almost every day.
So many people commented on these stamps so now they are available in store. Again, something a bit different to everyone else!!
Already some have sold out, (gee, gotta be quick!) but don't worry I will be getting more in and also I have a hardcopy of their Catalogue, so you are more than welcome to browse this and order what you want!!

Anyway, below are the stamps that are now in store (minus the ones already sold). Mainly word or sentiment stamps as these are becoming very hard to come across, especially simple or straight to the point! Plus I love all the Seal Stamps.

Free Standing Pop Up Cards

found this tutorial for the Free Stand Pop Up Card ages ago on Splitcoast Stamps by Mary Jo Albright and have used it over and over. It really is quite simple to make.

A different style of Christmas Card that I have been making this year is the Free Standing Pop Up Card.
We made similar style cards (not Christmas) months ago in a Creative Card Class and I said back then I thought they would be great as a Christmas Card as they could sit on the shelf rather than a traditional style card plus they have a WOW Factor when you first open them!
Anyway, the ones below I have used stamps from Wild Rose Studio.

Cards from Photo 1:
I have used stamps from Wild Rose Studio's latest release: Fairies. She is called Ella with Flowers, and she seemed very Christmassy.
I've stamped my images onto X-Press It Copic Cardstock and then cut then out and the base of the Pop Up card is white cardstock. I have coloured Ella with Copic Markers: E50,E21,E31,E33,E35, R39, R59, R81,R83,R85,YG63 and YG67.
I don't know if you have realized, with the packaging on The Wild Rose Studio Stamps, they have a coloured image that your Acrylic Stamp adheres to, so what I always try to do is when I first get a new stamp, I coloured it in trying to use similar colours that are on that sheet! Pretty Cool Hey!
I've added Diamond Stickles to her wings and then cut her out and placed foam dots behind her to make her stand out a little. That way so also becomes like the stopper for the card to stay in place.
The flowers I have made using the Blossoms 2 Nestabilities and just inked and lightly distressed the edges. I've used a Pomegranate Textured Cardstock to match her dress, then put some Black Pearls in the centre. I used my Martha Stewart Holly Punch.
The sentiments on the front are Hero Arts Christmas Stamps I've had for years and years, inked in one in Bravo Burgundy and the other in Garden Green Inks from Stampin' Up! Then I used my Long Rectangle Scalloped Nestabitilites.
I've kept both cards fairly similar!

Cards from Photo 2:
I have also used a stamp from Wild Rose Studio, this is a Milton & Co Stamp called Milton with Poinsettia. The teddy bear style of stamp is not my usual style, but Milton is very cute!
I've stamped my images onto X-Press It Copic Cardstock and then cut then out and the base of the Pop Up Card is white cardstock. I have coloured both these images with Copic Markers, but I've had these coloured for months and I have no idea where I wrote down what I have used! Obviously I have used Colours from the E colour family. I've coloured them both differently, one is light and the other is a darker shading. Both Poinsettia's have been coloured the same using YG63, YG67, RV29 and R29 (I think).
The base of the Pop Up card is made from Crimson Textured Cardstock and the pattern papers are from The Girls Paperie Tinsel & Twig Collection.
I've placed some white Satin ribbon on each card, with a little bow then I have made a small plaque so you are able to write a personal message on the bottom of each, and this is made by running it through my Cuttlebug with my Long Rectangle Nestabilities.
The sentiment on the top is from a set called Christmas Greetings again from Wild Rose Studio.

Below is what the card looks like when it is folded down, and these cards will fit into a standard C6 envelope!

The Greeting Farm Christmas Card

A while back I received in store the set Xmas Sweeties from The Greeting Farm. They are so cute!
I coloured them in with my Copic Markers and then to do the white fluffy bits on their hoods and jackets I used some Puff Paint that I've had for ages. You put this on the area required, leave it sit over night then hit it with your heat gun and it puffs, pretty amazing stuff. I've also used it in the past to put froth on beer mugs!

So today I was able to get a few unfinished projects finished and this was one that was on my list.
I just made this base of a card like a acordian card, (sorry had a mental blank of the actual name of the style of card) then placed the stamped images into the different sections. At the back I've added a stamped Christmas Tree from a older Papertrey Ink Stamp set from a few years ago (one of my favourite Christmas Stamps)added a sentiment.

Creations in Paper Copic Class 5

Creations In Paper Copic Class 5 we are going to learn how to Colour with Grays to make Black and Shading of your White Images.

When colouring with your Copic Markers we use Markers from the C and W colour families to replicate Black. Do not use your Black Copic Marker to colour your entire image.
We tend to use grey markers to allow for shading and high lighting. If you were to just use the Black Copic Marker, your image will be flat with no definition!

Cost is $50.00 per person
This cost includes 6 Copic Markers and photographed Information sheets and Practise Pages of stamped images.

Please bring along any Copic Markers you may already have, as the markers included in the Class cost are C9, C7, C5, C3, C1 and BG10.
If you already have these colours, I am more than happy to swap these on the day of your class for other colours.

Wedding Cards

Here are a few more Wedding cards I finished making last week using the Bride and Groom from Wild Rose Studio.
I've used the same layering technique for all the brides dresses, I just changed the colours of the metallic papers. Both the Bride and Groom are all coloured with Copics Markers and some Spica Pens also for that extra bling!!

Wild Rose Studio Wedding Card

So a few weeks ago I was playing with the Bride stamp from Wild Rose Studio and I thought I could make her wedding dress stand out a little rather than just being one layer and flat.

I stamped the original Bride onto Copic Cardstock and then I coloured in her face, neck, arms and hair with my Copic Markers.
Using some Metallic Cardstock from Artee (in a 120gsm) I stamp my image 5 few times with Memento ink and then I cut out each layer.

I placed some foam dots in between each layer to make her dress stand out and also her bouquet of flowers has been layered!
I coloured the bouquet, her head band and flower in her hair with Spica pens. Also the Grooms bow tie was coloured with a black Spica pen!

As mentioned in a earlier post, the Bride stamp was released a few months ago, so after I made my stamped/layered Bride, I placed her onto a card but she kind of look lonley there by herself, and I did wonder if they were going to bring out a Groom stamp!!
I was over the moon when I got the email that the Groom was being release this month!

Below was the start of the card I made with my Bride (she has been waiting patiently for her Groom) so when the Groom arrived earlier this week, I ripped him out of his packaging and inked him up straight away so I could finish my cards.

I've been busy making more boxes for Christmas Gifts, this time I used the Milk Carton. I know there are quite a few Milk Carton Templates going around, but some of them are either too small or big, so this one I redesigned.
I am happy with the size of it. It is the perfect size to put in some Handmade Biscuits or Yummy Christmas Treats!!
And to step it up you could even cut out a window in one of the front panels, place a bit of acertate it in and then you can see what you are getting!!

Handmade Christmas Gift Bags

So a few weeks ago I started playing with a few ideas for Gift Bags and Boxes as Christmas is fast approaching.
I designed these little Gift Bags as I thought they might come in handy for giving a small gift to a friend or work colleague, either filled with chocolates or yummy Christmas biscuits or even some beauty products!
The papers I have used are a mix between Basic Grey's Jovial and Echo Park's Merry Christmas. I've prettied them up with ribbons and flowers.

Pretty Twine from The Twinery

Look what finally arrived today from The Twinery
I have been looking around with suppliers to stock some twine, but some of the suppliers I came across were just too hard to deal with or I wasn't 100% happy with the colours they had, some seemed a little washed out!
That was until I found The Twinery I love the colours that they have, they are so colourful and bright and also the quality is fantastic, 100% cotton and eco friendly.

On a roll...

So, while I was on a roll the other day making cards, I decided to keep with the same style - kraft and simple.
I've finally made a start on my Christmas Cards and projects to start selling in my Creations In Paper Store.
Again, really simple designs, that can easily be mass produced for any level of Papercrafter. All products used on these cards are available in store.

Last week I received some new Just Rite Christmas Stamps in store, lately I am loving these stamps and especially the Holiday Cheer set in particular as they are cute and tiny and I can still colour them in with my Copics!
I pumped out about 40 of these in a few hours!!

Not really sure when I should start putting Christmas items out to sell as I don't want to be too early that I get sick of Christmas myself but then I also worry if I leave it too long then people will have already got there gifts or cards! Any suggestions??

Over the past few weeks my mojo seemed to have disappeared! Everytime I pulled out my stamps and papers, I would sit and stare at it for a while, then pack it all away! This has been going on for the past 3 weeks so you can imagine how frustrating this is and I'm sure we all go through it at sometime, but not good when you have your own shop and teach classes each week!
Anyway after many hours of blog surfing and getting more frustrated cause still nothing was falling into place, I decided to stop stressing about it and take a step back in my card making and go back to basic's.
Sometimes I think that I need to use my stamps and copics all the time when making cards, but this is not always the case.
So going through my stash of older stuff, I came across some 3D stickers from Creative Imagination's and old Rub ons from Stampin' Up! I've always been a huge fan of Kraft or Natural cardstock so I thought I would keep my cards fairly plain and simple.
Below are my cards that I made using the items listed above, just added a few buttons, ribbons and twine and things all fell in place! Anyway, I'm happy with the outcome!

Advanced Copic Class with Sharon

Last month's Advanced Copic Class with Sharon was a real hit, so we have decided to make it a regular monthly class.
Below is October's class with Sharon and again you will not be disappointed!

Cost is $25.00 per person
You are invited to spend an afternoon of fun and creativity with friends whilst using gorgeous papers from Echo Park and Paper Loft as well as stamps from Magnolia and Wild Rose Studio. This class is jammed packed with heaps of techniques!!

Copic Markers are used in this class, so previous experience using these markers is essential and each student is required to supply their own Copic Markers.

You will also need your Basic Tool Kit, which should included items as scissors, double sided tape, ruler, pencil, paper trimmer, bone folder, foam dots, etc.

Skin Tones: personal preference
Hair: personal preference
MALE: Y15, Y17, W00, W1, W3, W5, E71, E77, E25, E29
(any of the E’s that you already have will work)

Creations In Paper Copic Class 4

The are many different ways in which these amazing Copic Markers work and by reading different blog's you will see what works for others can sometimes be totally different to what we have done in the past.

In this class we will learn a few different ways in which other Copic Marker Teachers colour and blend. We have the learnt the basic's so now we will step it up a little and try out what works best for you!

COST $50.00 per person
This cost includes 6 x Copic Ciao Markers, practise page and we will turn your 4 favourite coloured images into completed Mini Gift Cards.

The Copic Markers you will receive in your kits are:
BV00, BV02, BV04, YR02, YR04 and YR07
If you already have any of these colours in your collection, I am more than happy to swap colours on the day.

Please bring along any Copic Markers you may already have, but in particular you will need YG63 and YG67 (or colours you prefer to use for leaves) and also a Basic Tool is required to make your Mini Gift Cards.

Payment is required at time of booking to secure your seat.
Markers need to be ordered in advance.

September Creative Card Kit Samples

New Christmas Papers in store...

I love making Christmas Cards and usually with so many great products on the market I always make my Christmas Cards all different rather than mass produce one design as I want to use as many new stamps and papers as I can each year!
So today (finally) New Christmas Papers from Echo Park arrived and I am starting to get excited!!

These 2 New Collections are called Merry Christmas and Everybody Loves Christmas.
Both are really nice designs and colours with your Merry Christmas being more traditional colours and the Everybody Loves Christmas is more of the fresh, funky colours and non traditional colours. But I'm sure I will use both!

Currently in store I have all the 12x12 Pattern Papers from both Collections and also a few Collection Packs from each collection.

I also have in stock A Walk in the Pack and Sweet Summer Time 12x12 Papers and also Collection Packs in A Walk in the Park Sweet Summertime and Life is Good.

Digital Images

A while ago my sister Angela and I got some digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop
I have coloured and posted a few here a while ago but I finally got around to down loading some photo's from my phone and these where a few newer ones I did but have not posted. All these cards are for sale in store and some have already sold.

All images have been printed onto X Press It Copic Cardstock and coloured in with Copic Markers. I think I've mentioned before, I like the whole Digital Image side of things but I think in the end I just love my rubber and arylic stamps more!

I'm hopeless in being organized lately and sometimes I don't know what I want to stamp and colour in! So with the Digital Images I find I need to be more organised and have them already printed and as I don't have a printer at the shop when I'm making my cards, I tend to forget all about the digital images sitting at home on the computer!
Anyway I still love colouring them when I do have them printed, so below are a few that I have made. The first two images are a huge favourite!

Billy Blyth

Last week I received my first order for stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
I have been a fan of these stamps for a while now and have had a few that I had ordered in the past for myself.

I've had a few ladies into the shop asking for Pirate Stamps or anything to do with Pirates as this must be the current trend for younger boys at the moment. When looking for Pirate stamps from my usual suppliers I had not much luck at all in finding any but I ordered Billy Blyth in the past for myself from Kraftin' Kimmie and I am now happy to say that I stock a few different stamps from the Moonlight Whispers Range.

Here are a few cards I made using my Billy Blyth Stamp along with We R Memory Keepers 6x6 Paper Pad MVP.
These are cards that are For Sale in the Shop so I have coloured them all with Copic Markers and then kept the design fairly simple and just changed the papers! The sentiments on the cards are also from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Kimmie's Pirate Sentiments!

Today I received some new stamps from The Greeting Farm, again you can never go wrong with any of these stamps, they are all great.
I don't think I have ever gotten in any that I didn't want to take one of each off the shelf straight away!! (there are some advantages of having my own shop!!)

22 New Designer A4 Papers from iPaper

One of my main suppliers of my beautiful A4 Designer Papers is Artee Supplies and they are from here in Australia. They are currently rebranding as iPaper, i did it myself.
Recently they released 22 new beautiful Designer Papers and today I received my Mock Up Kits so I can have a play and do up some samples using these gorgeous papers.

I will have them here in the next few weeks so be sure to keep an eye out for them. I am in the process of making up some samples of both cards and also invitations.
